Owing to the heavy rain on the hills adjoining the Sungei Pari River during last few days, the Sungei Pari has overflowed its banks and consequently all the low lying portions in the area of Ipoh are badly flooded. This morning, says Thursday's Times of Malaya, the compound of Silibin Road Church was about 18 inches under water.
